VP44 Change
Installed a new Lift Pump and Injector Pump last Wednesday, took me about 6 hours to do both, and that is waiting for my new lift pump for about an hour I printed off and took the instructions just in case I needed them. And I didn't think it was too bad for me being 17 years old
I am just curious at how little of tools does everyone usually use? From what I can remember (I think, sizes may be a little different) I used 17mm, 19mm, 13mm, 10mm, 11mm wrenches...10mm, 13mm, 12mm, 15mm sockets....screw driver here and there...large ratchet and socket for the IP nut...puller for the IP...and channel locks for the line clips....And that's pretty much it, I didn't use a crow foot, etc etc. So I'm wondering if I should maybe buy one for future use?
Thanks

Get the crow foot and a short extension. Might as well try it out for fit before you have to use it again I leave the lifting ring off too. throw it under the seat in case you blow a head gasket then you will need it.

Yea, it wasn't too bad taking off the injector line nuts with a wrench..until I got to the last one Still that wasn't even too bad
I put the lifting ring back on as well, the next time I need at the Lines I'll probably leave it off,lol
Now being as I just replaced my IP(and LP), I'm guessing I received the VP44 for 215-235 HP? What is the difference between the HO VP44? Would it be better to run that one?(Well probably once this one goes I'll be getting that "Monster VP" being discussed elsewhere )
