Which VP44 to buy?
I have been researching VP44's and came across Blue Chips website. The IP costs about $600 more than others but claims to use the latest computers and all new parts that are available. The other website i am debating is Thoroughbred Diesel which is cheaper but says nothing of putting in new computers or stronger, better parts.
Does anyone have any thought if the Blue Chip is worth it?
I do plan on keeping the truck for another 250K miles.
Has anyone had any problems with other rebuilt one's on the market breaking down too early?

nothing against blue chip, but just like many he only does a 1 year warranty. so who ever you buy call and ask who and what do they do when the remains get re done. new electronics, internals. etc. I would ensure its a bosch rebuilder..
I have had good success with my Oregon fuel injection. but lets face these pumps no matter what will not last forever. I'm happy to see 80k on the current one I have.
again not bashing blue chip alot of people have spent alot of money on his pumps and are happy. but I too have been the last 80k miles.
