VP replacement/engine codes

VP replacement/engine codes
I replaced the VP and the LP to a FASS 150. I have a check engine light from the initial failure. If i take my truck into a shop, they should be able to clear the codes from the VP failure and the check engine light should go away, right?

The fault code and light will go away after several cycles of engine starting. A parts store with a reader can erease codes, for free.
