Vibration at 1200-2200 RPM
This forum is real good at this kind of thing so I come to you for help, please.

I thought I'd read a query something like this a while ago but I can't seem to find it now.
Anyway, when I'm accelerating in any gear there is a vibration from about 1200 to about 2200 rpm. It's there even empty, but when I put a load on the trailer it gets worse as the weight goes up. When I'm pulling 20,000 it makes the stuff in the trays on the back wall rattle. The first thing I got checked, of course, was the clutch, but my clutch guy says no. I was thinking maybe drive shafts, but it only vibrates in that 12 to 2200 rpm range no matter what speed. What else might it be?

Ruadh
That's one thing I didn't think of. This is a new truck, only 37000 klicks. and it did take the rear u-joint out before 10,000 k. Think it might be an isolated problem?
Ruadh
