Update on 2001 Dodge Ram 2500 Diesel

Last week's message.....

"We have a 2001 Dodge Ram 2500PU 4x4 with Cummins Diesel that came in it. He has been having the following problem with his truck: first, it starts fine and runs fine but...
right after starting up and taking off for the first time every day it will have a problem gaining speed."

I wanted to say thank you to everyone who responded to help us with our truck problem last week. A special thank you to P. J for letting us know about the Cummins warranty. We took the truck to the dealer and both of the pumps were shot. They installed both new pumps and the only out of pocket expense we had was for a new fuel filter.! We know just how lucky we are after reading some of the posts about these pumps.

Thanks again everyone. You were such a lifesaver!

How cool is that!

Glad we could be of some help.

Now that we saved you $2,000+ how about a beer & pizza party at your house for the DTR crew??.... No?.... Okay then, how about letting Rick put on $2,000 in extras on the truck!!..... NOT?..... Okay then, how about Rick buys you $2,000 worth of new appliances?

How bout I just shut up and leave.

Don't be a stranger!

Rick, spend a little bit of the money you saved and get a fuel pressure guage so you can tell when your lift pump is dead.
