My first LP replacement was at 95k. None since. The VP44 now has 151,000 on it. I found some wood.

he sounds like my Dad. His 2001 HO Cummins would never have oil changes, fuel filter changes, ?air filter? looked at, nothing done if I didn't come home and do it every 8 or 9 months! His truck is an abused, dented, beaten up piece of work and it only has 36,000 miles! All of them low speed with a trailer behind, up and down gravel hills in 2nd or 3rd gear. The number of hours on his engine is probably more than a 500,000 mile interstate driven truck. He has no clue what a lift pump is and his truck starts every time!

Well, his truck finally died . 205k on the lp, and it gave up. Turns out that the vp44 was still good to go, even after being starved for months and being run dry of fuel multiple times cause the lp couldn't fuel it, he got lucky I guess. They installed an in tank lp now, so he should be good to go.
Tim.
