Where would we have it Sticth Welded in the North East Aera?...Rather have it done by a well know shop then a mech. who thinks he can weld.

i have a 53 block also and tow heavy loads. at first it bothered me, i was thinking of trading it off. finally i said screw it drive it till it breaks and then worry with it. you hear of several here that have or have heard of cracks but think of the total # of 53 blocks out there, they don't all crack

There ain't nothing you can do about it. Just drive it until something happens and worry about it then.
