Truck misses
Ok, truck is a 98.5 24v 5.9 4x4 with intank fuel pump, new VP44. Has about 5-7 psi of fuel at idle. Truck will miss once or twice every 10-20 seconds, some time more often some times less, have no idea why, started a little while after my injection pump install, any thoughts on why, could it be a bad injector, not enough fuel. Really needs some help and hate to throw parts at it, there are no codes with a scanner.

I don't know, the IP died, then I towed it home, replace IP, ran the truck about 20 miles with new IP and now it started missing, I would there is 5 less gallons with all the fuel I spilled bleed it out.

How many miles on truck? original injectors? Install a clear line on the return fuel line, do you see any bubbles going back to tank? Does truck have a long crank time? Pull injectors out and have them tested. If you don't have the money to replace them. Do a valve adjust while you are in there. Clean injector tip with soft brissle brush and some diesel fuel. Replace the crush gasket with same thickness gasket. Blow out all the injector lines and replace fuel filter.

Tank is full of fuel, were would I take the injectors to have them tested, and how much does it cost. Also, its seems like it misses more runs rougher the warmer the motor gets, could this be a ECT issue
