I recently had my transmission rebuilt on my 01 dodge cummings 5 speed 3rd gear was grinding when going in so i brought it to someone and they replaced all my synchro rings in it while i had the tranny down i went ahead and replaced my clutch since i had a brand new one sitting in my shop anyway. put the tranny back in filled it with fluids and truck shifted fine the day i put it in the next morning i get going down the road and truck is still shifting fine and all gears are working great but there was smoke coming from around my shifter. wth is going on?! any help please greatly appreciated ( transmission shop told me to use 4 quarts of pennzoil synchromesh in the transmission so that is what i did)
