Transmision filters
I'm just getting around to changing out rear and tranny lubes. Not sure why but my sig isn't showing. I got a plain jane '99 2500 long bed club cab auto tranny, no mods other then dual bypass oil filter setup. 63k miles
I went to the local parts house to get the filter / gasket sets and they told me I've got two tranny filters? I crawled all under the thing and can't find the spin on one they sold me. I haven't dropped the pan yet cuz I don't feel like walking to the place if I find in the middle of it I got wrong parts.
Is there a spin on unit and the normal flat filter inside the pan?
The pan looks big enough to hide it.

Who knows, it's some kind of screw up. The Allison tranny the duracrap has is the only tranny I know of that uses a spin on filter. The 47re uses a flat style that mounts to the valve body in the pan.
