Transfer Case Fill Plug nightmare...
OK Guys my 2002 6 speed has a screwed up Fill plug on the transfer case. My guess is they used an air gut on it and stripped the plud. NOT the threads but the plug itself. Went to change it other day and its all hollowed out and I can get it to take a hold and move.
Where would be a good place to get a replacement??? Does someone have a part number? Also, any good ideas on How to get that plug OUT ???? Thanks!

There a few ways to remove it. I've drilled them out to the point where the remains just threads out. I've drilled out the center and pounded a square type stud remover into it and turned it out.
If I'm not mistaken and I can't remember the size but a pipe plug will work; The actual plug is only a few bucks from the dealer but any drive line or mechanical shop should be able to get you the stock factory type plug.
