I was just wondering what transfer case my truck has in it. I was looking on one site and it gave some #'s but mine wasn't there. I have a 2001.5 2500 cummins 235 hp automatic. The tag says NV 241 and I think LDL or DLD after the 241, I can't remember things anymore. I looked at it yesterday but its gone from my mind. Ha, Ha.Just another sign I'm getting old

Should be DHD or LHD. Not sure what if any internal differences there are, but the DHD has PTO plates on both sides and the LHD does not..if I remember correctly. If you look at the T-Case, there is a tag on it, I believe towards the back and I think it is round. It should have 241DHD or 241LHD stamped on it.
