Trans fluid

I feel real dumb on this one. To check the trans fluid-truck running, trans warm, Right? The reason I ask is no matter how many times I try, the I can't get a nice good "clean" reading on the dipstick. The fluid is all over it, I check front and rear as I know sometimes you can get a reading on the back

Ahhh, neutrel. Well that would explain why the fluid looked high. Thanks!
