TPS Wire Color for BD Exhaust Brake
I'm installing a BD exhaust brake into a buddy's 1999 24v and I am confused about the instructions to tap into the TPS wire. The directions from BD say to tap the Blue and Black wire. There are 2 wires this could be there is a light blue with a black tracer and a black with a blue tracer. Does anyone who has put one of these brakes in know which wire that I need to tap into for the controller unit?
Thanks
Dave

If you take your volt meter the correct wire will have .5 volts at idle and as you press the throttle down it should sweep up to about 4 to 4.5volts a wide open throttle. You can check that key on engine not running. That will be the one you want. There should be 6 wires in the plug you are looking for.
