torque convertor shudder
As I was leaving the race track sunday I leaned into my truck pretty hard to get out in traffic. The trans shifted fine, but when it was in third the lockup clutch engaged and it shuddered pretty bad. I backed out of it and eased back into it, and it seemed to be ok. Guess I get to pull my trans out soon. So what does everyone run here for converters? I knew I was going to be needing one down the road, just was hoping it wouldn't be so soon.

I have the Suncost unit and like it. They have 2 versions, the large single disk and the large triple disk.

Of course there are others I'll let the guys that have them talk them up or you can go to the links at the top of the page and find them. I would look everything over and visit their sites. It will be very educational.
Hope this is of help

I really like my ATS torque converter and transmission. I would not hesitate to recommend Clint and the ATS staff to anyone. You might want to add them to the list when you are making your calls. Their number is 1-800-949-6002 and the link http://atsdiesel.com/
