Torque converter heading south..
Need recommendations outside of DTT, Mojave, and Goerend. Not saying I won't go that route, but I know all about their stuff.

Search? There is about a dozen brands and all the info is there. Anything specific about this brand or that brand will be easiest to find out straight from the vendor.
For what it's worth, I haven't heard much good about Mojave so you might wanna scratch that one off the list...

Looking for real world experiences here in this forum. I could care less what a vendor tells me.

A repescted vendor is your best tool for getting information. They're respected for a reason. They know what they have, and they know you wouldn't be calling them for something that expensive if you weren't aware of what they have. Most vendors (like Goerend) will tell you the honest truth of what you need, what you don't need, what to expect, and what it can handle.
What else are you looking for?
HTS, Dunrite, DTT, Goerend, Suncoast are the first five that come to mind.

Then your best bet is to search again and read more. The real world experience is all over this forum and easily accessible.

Now, I'm looking for value as well. I'm not out to get 500hp to the ground. I'm really not interested in dropping 1500 for a TC. I am also not interested in replacing it in 25k miles, either. I do some light duty towing in my lawn chemical business, but nothing major. No racing. No gearheading.
