Throw out bearing chatter

Throw out bearing chatter
just rolled over 136,000 and now my throw out bearing is occasionally making some chatter noise, comes and goes. It has not been above freezing for weeks but I doubt it will get much better with warmer weather. It is too bad there is not a grease zert that could be greased.
Any one have something to share or the part numbers or brands that are good, or prices ???????????
Clutch is holding fine but who knows what it will look like when I get in there. I really do not have the time, but will more than likely fix it my self as the shop labor will be expensive I am sure.
Thanks.

When it first started, I thought it was a belt idler. But it is worse now, pushing in on the clutch pedal will normally change it to a different pitch or maybe even make it stop all together, for a while. Sometimes in or out, it is quite, sometimes not. It is getting worse.
I thought someone here would have some numbers or experiences they would want to share.
Good luck with yours.

Don't overlook changing the pilot bearing in the crankshaft while you're in there - be a major pain to drop it all again just for that little needle-type roller bearing - note the condition of the input shaft nose, as it rides directly in the rollers - if it's chewed you will need to pull it and have it reground for a repair sleeve, plus the pilot bearing.

At a 136000 I would be prepared to get a clutch depending how it was driven and mainly stop and go or hwy its more than likely getting pretty worn and if you are in there no point in not doing it at same time. If you do order a kit from valair or southbend they come with new throw out bearing, pilot bearing and clutch so its a done deal. Just a thought if you are in there might as well do it at once unless funds are tight.
