You guys are welcome to call either of the parts sources that I mentioned in my previous post to verify the prices I listed. The 180° t-stat is considerably cheaper ($31.51 as of today @ Cummins So. Plains); however, my truck came with a 190° t-stat and the newer version is a different design and considerably more expensive. I believe the design was changed due to failures in the older model. I have thought about changing to a 180° but I believe the hotter units are designed to make the truck run more efficiently and with less pollutants.
