I bought my 180* t-stat at a CUMMINS dealer, and it wasn't even close to $69.00.
I'm guessing it was around $27, but that was two years ago...I can check my records in a couple weeks for the price/part # if you like.

I paid about $40 for my T-stat at the local Cummins dealer. Compare that with $75 quoted at the Dodge dealer.
The price difference between the $40 I paid and the cost at AutoZone or similar was not enough to chance putting a less than high quality part in my cooling system.

Local cummins dealer quoted me $103.79 for the stock T-stat.

So, I bought an aftermarket one from NAPA. We'll see how it works out.

A quick Google turned this up...look at #24 on page 3. A couple good prices there.
