tell me if i got this right

I was following a truck today and had to slow down to wait on it to turn. Step on the accelerator and uhh yep no power. I seen my life flash before me , oh no that must of been the dead peddle i read about all the time. Wait i go into denial just need to down shift, come on why is it not gaining speed.I can barely creep up the hill. Quick check the boost guage i must of blew a boot off. no boost fuel pressure 14psi. hay i'm picking up speed must of been a fluke.

have to slow down again, same thing no boost no responce on the throttle i'm getting some worried now. still have to make it home . get home no codes thrown.

Pleasssssse tell me it aint the vp44. Wait don't just tell me, prove me wrong.

1 tank of ultra-low and now this. anything beside vp44 model i need to know when looking for a replacement. Will try the apps reset tomorrow.

Check the codes, sounds like the VP or possibly the APPS.

As i said in the first post it didn't throw any codes. I did the apps reset and drove it 100 miles and it did not do it again.

Did you check the codes with the key method or using a scan tool? There are a lot of items that are not shown with the key method....

Didn't someone replace a suspected bad VP44 a few months back, and it ended up being a bad overflow valve?

Ok yesterday i got a CEL and used a OBD11 scanner and pulled up a P0237. What would of caused that? I did clean the battery terminals before the cel came on. I have not drove it today after erasing the code. Could it be in the edge comp ? where else would it sence the low input?

When i had the first low throttle symptom i had zero boost on the gauge and no smoke that i could see. We all know how well you can see out of these quad cabs with the excellent factory mirrows.

P0237 is boost circut issue. Check the MAP sensor and the plugs. Does the Edge not respond well when the MAP sensor isn't sending a signal? Maybe somebody knows?

P0237 - "Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low"

Hopefully, someone else will chime in and verify but I think circuit A refers to the 5 volt input supply wire to the MAP sensor which comes from the ECM. I don't know what the possible causes of this are other than something is wrong with the ECM itself....but again, I'm not a DC tech and I'm not up to par on my ECM diagnostics.....J BODY, where are you?

Mine is also throwing this code. I fixed the obvious grounds around the batteries but have no idea where the other critical ones are. I don't have any dead peddle feeling. Just a rough idle and miss that comes and goes depending on the day.
