Strange Vibration in Lower Radiator Hose
This is a first for me?
When I plug in the block heater within a minute I have a strange vibration in the lower radiator hose. The water pump doesn't vibrate, just the hose and overflow bottle. When I squeeze the radiator hose it lessens the rattle. There are no electrical connections that I can see connecting to this hose. Is there a circulation pump inside?
Any ideas?

Nope, that is just the block heater doing it's job. There is no circulation pump. The coolant moves around in the block via thermal convection. Everything you describe sounds normal.
I don't know why it makes the noise that it does. Though it is nice to hear it and know that it's working.

Thanks
After 400,000 miles, this is the first I ever heard anything. But Last year I went through 2 of them on defective parts till they finally got one working right. But it blows a GFI plug at a hotel and fine on a normal outlet so I have a ground issue somewhere.
