"Strange" happening with my truck!?
I fired up the beast this morning early, and let it idle back out of the driveway, put it in "D," hit the go pedal, and nothing happened. The tach went up about 200 rpms, and I idled on up the street about 100 yards with very little response from the pedal, just about 200 rpms or so. Then it quit, as if the fuel pump just shut down. I did have normal fuel pressure until it quit, by the way. I gave it about a 10-count, then fired it up, and everything was normal.
I drove about 70 miles doing errands, turning off and restarting several times, without another incident. What do you guys think?

Gee DPG I don't know. How cold was it there this morning? Maybe a gel ??? I have never heard of this happening. Especially with the symptoms you stated. I will do some checking around though.

Thanks, HG, I appreciate it! It was 15* this morning, and snowing. The truck spent the night in the garage, but I didn't plug it in. I just waited for the "wait to start" light to go out, and then I fired it up. It ran smooth at idle, until it quit. It did seem to smoke a little more than normal, even for a cold morning, but I couldn't swear to that even.
