If I wasn't so lazy, I would've gone out to the garage last night and looked up the code in the FSM... I'll check when I get home tonight but it definitely wasn't 1693... that flippin' companion code is always the first one to pop into my head.

Melted number 6 pulling Afton Mountain. Ran the truck almost 400 miles with it knocking like someone was in there with a sledge trying to get out. Figured it would either get me home or fall out on the pavement smoking. Scheids said didn't even score the cylinder walls, just ran a glaze breaker and put in a new slug.

Got the extra pistons in the shed, PM me if you need one.
