new carter lift pump, reset apps, reset apps with volt meter put to .560 or close to.

still have po121 po1693.

new Apps from dodge 408.44 cash and still has dead pedal.

the injection pump is only about 2 years old. I cant imagne the vp44 going bad because the truck has to much power and runs way to strong.

"only runs good when I turn the ignition off and then back on while driving",, it kinda hard when pulling a trailer and trying to make a turn.

Do you guys think I could return the new apps and get my money back?

Could quite possibly be a dying injection pump. Rjohnson had one dying on him and he had no symptoms other than he dynoed about 100hp lower than what he expected so it's definately something to consider. Do you have any idea what your fuel pressure is?

Idle 15-17lbs

Full throttle edge turned up 7-8lbs

before the recent lift pump

idle was 12-13lbs

full throttle was 2-4lbs

You might try clearing 0121 code and removing the juice to see if code returns. I think there is a time period on returns of electrical stuff.

I had this problem and so did another member, the new apps didn't help , turned out to be the ECM, I got a used one for $200
