ok, here is the whole story. unplugged my M3 quadzilla to get some of the free updates, could not get the updates to work. it did say it cleared feature code. put everthing back in truck and got 0237 code. unplugged the m3 same thing. bought a new map sensor for a 194.00 ripoff and now still getting the 0237 code. what do i do? truck runs fine, no black smoke

 

Drive it. There is possibility ecm has been compromised by M3.
Look carefully at Map sensor connector for damage and for water in ecm connector (not likely) or elsewhere. Might consider a dealer scanning for circuit operation. Fill out signature please.

You ECM is probably fine. Double check that you have map sensors plugged in the right order. Unplug both batteries for 30 mins. It sounds like something is not plugged. Your signature is under USER CP link.

 

truck doing fine now had code clear it did not return. thanks to everybody on this site who has ever help me, you guys are life savers. i just hope one day i can help somebody out. merry christmas.
