Slave cylinder: lone replacement or whole kit?

I have found slave cylinders for $25. The entire slave/master kit is available from Dodge for $245. Waiting for Quad4x4 to call back.
Is it ok to replace just the slave or is it advised to replace both with the kit?

Quad does not sell them. SouthBend is $325.
Think I will do the enitre assembly. Who knows, the master may be bad too.
Just going to get the dealer OEM.
