slave cylinder
Had something happen yesterday that I've never seen before. My boy was driving my truck and lost the clutch! Crawled underneath and found the slave cylinder was dangleing down! Ya, you heard me! Lol Anyway, It appears that it snapped both mounting studs off the bell housing. My question is this......Can I get in the small hole to replace these studs or do i have to drop the tranny and how are they connected? Do they screw in from the inside or are they similar to a wheel stud and just drive in on splines? Any help here would be greatly appriciated.

Parts manual calls for 2 of 06032878 threaded stud, 5/16-18 x 2" long. Looks like they just thread in from the outside.
Your call but a well stocked Auto parts store or hardware store should have them in stock.
