Scotty 2 Install Q?
Hey Guy's I just got a Scotty 2 System! here is the prob when I went to install it, it does not seem to fit right it seems as if the battery cables are in the way so it does not sit in like it seems it should? carrect me if i'm wrong & does anyone have any pic's of how thiers sits in there?
also that rubber piece goes on the end of the filter right? I can;t seem to get the hose to fit over to make conecct it.

Mine:
You might need to loosen the battery cable to move it over just a touch.
The hose is a tight fit.
I used a little spit (eeeww ) to help it slide on.

Same as Shovelhead, but I didn't use spit (eeewwww is right! ) I used a little thin coat of Vasiline and yes it is a tight fit. I didn't have to move the batt cables though.

The rubber turbo inlet hose goes over the filter end...I used a small amount of engine oil and smeared it around the edge.
Make sure you have that steel coupler inside the filter for clamping.
When I put a unit in position I have the turbo inlet hose on the filter...loose. I then put the fender inlet in place while lining it up to the cowl hole and then slipping it onto the turbo.
You will be able to move the hosuing around with it in psotion like this. Once you have it in position, then tighten up the clamps.
