School me on dropping fuel tank
My fuel gauge is off and fuel pressure is down so i'm guessing my truck ate the fuel tank module. I need some info on dropping the tank and changing the module. What is the procedure for removing the tank. I'll have to make a run to the Dodge house in the morning and get a new module. What is the part number? How much should I expect to pay? Is it a hard install? Thanks in advance!

A lot of shops will remove or raise the bed instead of dropping the fuel tank.
I've been told they remove the driverside bed bolts and loosen the passenger side, then lift the bed and put block under it.

I did this when I removed my fuel module. Worked like a charm. Before you go buy a new module, check yours out first. Dealer up here wanted around $530 for a new module, and there isn't a whole lot that can go wrong with them that a little light fabrication can't fix.
