Rusted spring buckets any advice to repair?

My spring buckets are rotting badly on the front of my 2000 CTD 4x4. This is the part that is the round part connected to the front housing that the coil spring sits in. They are getting bad and I can't find any idea's other than replacing the entire front housing

Any luck finding a solution for your rusted spring buckets? My father in-law has the same problem with his 99' 1500. The only othr solution I could come up with is to take it to a machine shop and have buckets made and welded on.

went to a machine shop and had two rounds circle made of 1/4 steel the same diameter of the springs. I ground down the rust and tack welded them in, seems to do the trick.
