runs rough and dies sometimes when I stop at lights
Truck is a 2002 only codes I can pull up were p0234, p0500 and p 1693. I am going to change the cam sensor on Tuesday not sure what the problem is. Any help would be great..

Changed the v 44 pump today. How long does it take to get the sir out of the system. I drove it and truck still dies and cuts out some. Checked all the connections already????

Did you change the lift pump along with the VP44? Lift pump Pressure reading?
My only experience with the VP44 is that after getting it bled on a couple injectors, it did run rough for a minute then smoothed out and never made any other trouble.

I changed the lift pump s month ago. I ordered a gauge but haven't got it yet. The truck idles great but still dies once in awhile and cuts out going about 70 mph. When it cuts out it blows some white and blue smoke.

Well a friend fixed that problem, he pulled the old pump put. But now the tank builds up pressure and blows fuel out of the cap when the tank is full. Anyone gave this problem???
