Royal Purple vs. Amsoil
I am planning on changing all my fluids soon. Would you suggest R.P. or Amsoil or something else? 75w-90 or 85w-140 in the axles? What for the transmission and tranfer case(Synchromax or other)? Thank you very much in advance.

I am running RP 85W-140 in both diffs and in the spring probably putting Amsoil ATF in the tranny.

No additive required on the RP for the limited slip. I have heard people adding it with the Amsoil.

I don't think you can go wrong with either of these brands.

Tony

Re:Royal Purple vs. Amsoil
I am running RP in the diff and have no problems with it. No friction modifier added. Thinking of doing the RP in the 5spd next. 8)
