Replaced Crank Sensor and Now PROBLEM

So I was getting the error code for the Crank Position Sensor and intermittent tach dropping, so I decided to replace the sensor. PAIN in the on mine. Took a few hours to get it out. Replaced with the new one and fired the truck up.

I now have a very noticable vibration in the truck. The tach seems to jump a half notch noticably too. Not sure what happened or if it is related. Any ideas?

Replaced with Cummins 4921601 sensor.....
Thanks...

Was the old sensor chewed up? If so, the tone ring is most likely loose and will be need further repair.

No, the old sensor was fine at the end of it. I put my finger in the hole and felt the ring and it was tight....
