Question Re-sealing th transfer case halves??

Has anyone ever split a 241 in half?

I have a leak that is getting worse and its not coming from the output shaft on the T case, and its not coming from either of the red or green seals between the T case and the trans.

The leak is coming from where the two halves of the transfer case come together.

Just thought I would ask if anyone has done one before...

Its very simple, just make sure you clean the two halves up good before sealing it up again.

RTV sealant is the stuff to use.
