Putting In new Injectors tomorrow
Received new injectors from mwfi, and if it warms up enough will install saturday sometime. They are new and have new copper washer and one o-ring at top grove. Question I have is there an oring for the tube that slides back, or just the one oring and the copper washer. Any tips are greatly appreciated. Thanks stephen

part number?
I didn't get an o-ring from MWFI for the tubes. Is it reuseable, or should I buy them? Do you have a part number, Dodge or Cummins? Thanks Stephen

When I did mine I just backed out the delivery tubes enough to get the injectors out. Do them one at a time, On the number 2 and 4 injectors you will have to remove the blue clamp for the injector fuel lines, the rest of them should be fairly easy.

Injectors done
Well it was easier than I thought, though not as easy as a Detroit, due to #6 cylinder. After 6800 hrs, and 211,000 on the stock injectors, I thought they would look alot worse than they did. They were a little plugged, paticularily # 4 and #5, so I guess 1,2,3,and 6 were handling all the load. After only three cycles of lift pump, and bleeding of #1 and #3, it fired right up, with only about 10secs of roughness. Road test was impressive, lower EGT by about 100deg. but it was only short runs tonight. Way more power, pulls hard now, and I don't have a fueling box. So after a few tanks of fuel I'll have a better mileage gain/loss to report. Regardless it was time for new ones, this time I won't let them go as long as I did, I know better, especially after years on the Detroits. Thanks for all the help guys. Stephen
