Angry Push Clutch in and here plastic break??

Last night on the way home i go to grab a gear and hear what sounds like plastic breaking, all the sudden ive got alot of play in the pedal, harder to get into gear and after shutting it off it wont restart! safety switch wont engage! get it goin and into the shop to look at it today.. now this is Southbends upgraded heavy duty master, and i have there 3600DD, low and behold where the master cyl. turns into the bracket on the fire wall, 3 of the 4 tabs are broke and its just barely hangin there, this has only 22k on it!! So call south bend and talk to manzel (sp?) he says yep its happened before so you'll have to get a new one, i can work with ya on the price but to next day air it itll be 85.00 ( this is my only winter rig).. so i ask him whats being done to remedy this problem? i get ...well that 3600 has alot of pressure soooo.. so NOTHING!! so now what in another year another 300.00 for another one? SOrry for the Rant just a lil ticked right now..anyone else had this problem with this master cyclinder, he told me they have had problems.. so why isnt there a fix being done????

Call Valair. They have a heavy duty master/slave that I understand is simply a bored out OEM version. And its cheaper than Southbends. I wouldn't be happy with Southbends response either but I'm not meaning to get you more angry.

since these aftermarket hydraulics are adjustable, having the rod too long could cause it to break pre-maturely. your pedal should engage the truck by the time you are 2-3 inches off the floor, if yours was working off the top this could be a problem.

Nope not that at all!! all adjustments were correct.. bad design in my oppion.. plastic tabs that hold it in the factory bracket? with a 3600lb clutch? i would think there would be a better design for this!! I'm not the only one this has happened to, and that was right from SB!!!!
