Project 99!! Photos inside (updates!!!!)

Ok guys, well the parts are starting to come in. So Im going to take pictures as I go along with this slight overhaul. List of things to accomplish

Radiator removal and cleaning internal/external due to long times oil leak.
Trans oil and filter change
Oil change
Fuel filter change
FASS Install
IP Install
Injector nozzle install
BHAF Shield install
Cold Air Induction install
Edge EZ Install
Gauge Install
Vacuum pump overhaul

You can imagine this will take a week or so with my work schedule. So I will update slowly

As you can see my the oil leak was doing some damage. Anyone with a pump leak will prob have a radiator like this.
You can also see my puke bottle mod...

Hey airplaneman,

Thanks to one of your pics One of my questions maybe answered. But I posted on another thread about two plugs I unhooked from a timing box and a comp box, that are under the injection pump. One is black and one is grey (data port), my question was if they are supposed to go somewhere(connected to something). I removed the comp box and timming box because my truck has a problem(bad) with dead pedal and I wanted to put it back to stock to find the problem. But one of you pics shows the black plug but I dont see the grey one. However my is also a 99 and wondering if yours is the same as mine--if both plugs are supposed to be not hooked to something in stock mode.

thanks

stix

today I will start with major component removal... Vac. pump, Injector Pump, Injectors, etc. I will then go backwards for installation of parts. First with the FASS Kit, then injectors, then pump, then vac pump, then Shield and CAI, then fluid changes, edge EZ, then test!!!!

AIRPLANEMAN00, what kind of CAI are you installing? I've been thinking about changing from my BHAF to a different dry filter like AEM's. Just thinking about it right now, though...you really can't beat the price of a BHAF.
Hey my rad looked the same two summers ago. A can of your favorite degreaser and a hose will take care of it. Just be sure to spray directly at the rad from 90* to avoid bending any fins.
Oh something else I just thought of...you might as well replace your thermostat since you have the rad drained...I put a 180* Cummins in mine. With that and the cleaning, she does much better towing in these summer temps.

This confused me for a second. Were you referring to the right hand, upper row picture? Looks like it is from Liquor Mart. But it is a nice thought, definitely would not leak when properly installed on the engine.
