Well, yes I was going to try and get as much out as possible.I lost my brakes and steering this last cold spell. fuild was puking out cap and looks orange.I think I read that it might be mixed with brake fuild cause hyd. boost seal went south but cannot find article in search. I've only had truck on road for 200 miles since completing repaint and its been a train wreck of problems.P.S, ttrcbar/ luks link ,4wd mia... still haven't figured that 1 out. Next will be lift pmp or 44 with my luck. Nate

I did mine once a week for 2 months to get all the fluid clear. Once every two months seems to keep it clear.
Is the RP synthetic purple... like all their other stuff?

What would be a good way to remove water? I have the pump off and put it in the parts washer.....perhaps not the best idea. Regardless, it now has water in it and I need to get it all out. Could I just fill it and spin the pump? Will that get all the water out? It's not in the PS unit at all, just in the reservoir.
