Power Steering fluid cooler

Has anyone installed a cooler for the power steering fluid? When I changed teh steering box, the fluid was quite burnt. I am new to power steering systems, and don't know how it should be plumbed.

Probably would not be a bad idea since this fluid gets no filtering or cooling to amount to anything. I change mine out once every year and flush about three quarts of fluid through the system.
