Did they replace the boost sensor yet? If not replace it... Boost pressure will be at minimum with the key ON / engine OFF and at idle. Boost pressure should increase with the load on the engine (not higher engine rpm). The 1998 through 2000 MY trucks will display boost pressure on the DRB3 like a manual pressure gauge. Zero (0) to 20 PSI is the normal operating range. The voltage reading at 0 PSI should be about 0.5 volts. The 2001 and 2002 Trucks are calibrated to display barometric pressure. 10 to 35 PSI is the normal operating range. The BOOST PRESSURE reading at sea level should be about 14-15 PSI. The voltage reading at sea level should be about 1.0 volt. This reading will change depending on elevation above sea level and weather (barometric pressure). With the sensor connected, if the DRB displays BOOST PRESSURE is around 5-7 PSI, replace the MAP sensor. TEST: With the MAP (BOOST PRESS) sensor disconnected, the DRB3 should show zero (0) volts. With a paper clip or other suitable jumper, connect the sensor 5 volt feed to the signal wire and the DRB3 should show 5 volts. If this is okay, replace the MAP sensor. NOTE: MAP sensor operation can also be checked by pressurizing the intake system using tool #8442 or #9022.

Unplug the boost sensor, use a voltmeter and check the sensor five volt supply. If voltage is low unplug the oil pressure sensor cycle the ignition key and recheck the five volt supply to the boost sensor. If voltage is correct replace the oil pressure sensor.
Codes P0236, P0237, P0522, And P1488. Verify Oil Pressure Sensor Operation.;The engine starts and runs. May be low on power and the oil pressure gauge may fluctuate
