overdrive issues
hello, i have a 1999 dodge ram 2500 4x4 with 310,000 miles that is shifting in and out of overdrive at highway speeds, i reset the apps and cleaned both batteries and connections. im wondering if anyone else has any ideas?

Possible alt noise or transferpump noise causing sensor to drop out. Try running separate ground wire from PCM (trans controller on rightside firewall) to ground terminal on battery. I have had some luck with that fix.

There are afew grounds under the driver batt, couple on the pass fender well and two on the fire wall behind the turbo area. Cleaning these solved my tranny hunting issue.
