The Valoline Premium Blue is a CI+4 Oil; as such it has a better additive package than just about anything. NAPA CI+4 is also made by Ashland, also highly recommended.
No CJ oil is near as good as almost any CI+4 oil for pre 07.

I think the only way to get Valvoline Premium Blue in CI-4+ is to get the "Classic" stuff. They've switched over to the CJ-4 stuff now. I agree though, the Napa stuff is good too. TDR's oil analysis tests on the new stuff put the older Valvoline CI-4+ near the top, and the Napa stuff was about mid pack... all the CJ-4 stuff was at the back of the pack.

MYSTIK JT8 15/40; semi-synth. blend. 2gal container at Trailor Tractor Supply = $19 I know its not a "big name" brand...used to be run quite abit in racing community.
