#4088390 is the correct part # for a oil pressure sensor , they are harder and harder to get at Cummins because of the changeover to oil press. switch.

ordered oil press sensor from Cummins wed. morning. Mine is stuck on the high side of the dash gauge so no alarms or lights going off. Went to O' Riley's Auto Parts and bought a manual gauge made by Equus 0-100 psi and 1/8 copper line.Line ran from top of oil filter housing to gauge. Since I don't smoke removed ash tray and mounted in that slot. Some have said to install needle valve in line to smooth out flow to gauge.I did not and it works perfect.80-90 psi cold at idle goes down to 40 when hot at idle.

I don't know for sure about yours, mine took a 1 1/16" six point extra deep socket. I bought a six point deepwell and cut the end off and welded another socket on to make it longer.

on my 2001 CTD to change sensor you need a 1-1/4 deep socket. When ordering part from cummins be sure you have the engine # off of the black tag on the front dr side of the engine,it will start with a 5 or a 6.Just thought this might help.
