Oil pressure and fuel level Gauges Pegged

Just bought a 2001 4x4, owner said he put a new starter and cam position sensor on the truck. I noticed that the fuel level seems to be stuck @ 3/4 and the oil pressure stays @ 40# when you turn the key to the own position. I guessing this may be related to the starter and Cam position sensor installation. Any Ideas.

Doesn't have anything to do with it. When warmed up oil pressure gauge is slightly below 40 psi at idle.

I see, but when I turn the key to the ACC. position the oil pressure goes to 40 and when I start it, it stays @ 40. At Idle-40, At 60 MPH-40, key in the on position-40

it was flashed, the guage will allways read 40. changing sending unit will have no effect. and it cant be undone.

x2. There was a software "upgrade" which would turn a malfunctioning oil pressure gauge into a dummy gauge which would always show oil pressure whenever the key was on.
