Oil Leak under PS Pump

I am positive it is not PS Fluid, seems to be a pretty decent size oil leak coming from Somewhere near the PS Pump.I don't think it is out of the Puke Bottle. Is there something- some seal or whatever that goes out?? Have not seen anyone talk about a leak in this spot yet. Thanks for any help.

Most likely you are going to learn how to remove your vacuum pump and reseal it. Kit is available at the dealer, or considerably cheaper at a Cummins authorized facility. I also understand that there is a double lip seal available through the aftermarket. Sometimes the sealing surface of the power steer pump drive gets a groove worn in it. The aftermarket seal will ride on a different area than stock.

yeah its probably your vaccum pump. thats what mine was. the hardest part was getting to it, to remove and reinstall. checkout fixinrams.com .
he sells a kit with a instuctional dvd and everything included. super nice guy, he walked me though the whole the process and made it easy.

I second the fixinrams.com kit. I just bought it two weeks ago and did the whole job in 2 hours. My local Cummins dealer didn't even want to touch it and said that the vacuum pump was not serviceable and Dodge dealer wanted $595.00 for a rebuilt. $59.95 plus shipping and it includes everything you will need including the tools to drive out old seals and replace new one.

On this fix do you remove the radiator or just work around it? I'm about to order the kit.

Don't know if you are talking about the same thing. There would be no reason to remove the radiator.
