oil in coolant
so had some oil in coolant last oil change(right on 3000m), shop has pulled oil cooler and says there seems to be nothing wrong, they pressurized the system and had coolant drain down, they are suppose to check the oil level now and see where its at, no external leaks anywhere, no power loss, no steam, no smoke while driving, i might be showing slightly less boost so...
its starting to sound like head gasket to me, they say they dont have a sure method of testing this... what do you guys know? this is a diesel services(grand junction,CO) shop so i would assume they have alot of good guys on staff? i was recommended to them by a buddy who has been there quite a few times, but... i'm not feeling like they know their stuff at this point
seems they should be able to find out whats wrong before just assumming its something and tearing it down to find out one or the other...

Oil cooler behind filter is certainlly most likely component. These are problematic to diagnois. They might also look for combustion gasses in coolant. It is a block chek kit.
