oil analysis

What do these #s mean?

Fuel .5 % of volumn ; soot .2 % h2o < .1%. The test is by Fleetguard. Under comments Nickle and abrasives are at a minor level otherwise no other comments.

Looks to me like you got some blowby. Fuel is a little high and soot from unburned fuel is a little high. Both are not terminal at those levels but worth monitoring.
Stationary plants would suspect sticky rings but they don't have much variation in engine speed.

This site will help decipher the report. Take a good look around, they explain terms, post oil analysis reports on various vehicles, used oil analysis, new oil analysis (on various oils), and sources for other analysis companies.

Time to run a few tanks with Marvel Mystery Oil in the fuel.
