OE lift pump lead?
Where is it?
Almost done hooking up the new system and I'm confused. I need to "disconnect the OE fuel pump lead from the ECM connection". I've got to be looking right at it. I'll basically be done after this. Thanks.

Thanks, thats what I thought. I had taken the filter housing off to get to it just to see if they would match up but couldn't disconnect it Guess I'll try again tommorrow.

The electrical connector on the LP is at the bottom and slides out of the LP. Unless I don't understand what you are doing, you should not be removing any plugs from the Fuel Filter. The line from the ECM to the LP is a little plug with a clip and has a red and black wire. It should come off easily by pulling the tab away from the clip. What system/LP are you installing?

I was just stating that I took the filter housing off to be able to better reach the LP connection. Its an Airdog system.
Update: I just got it disconnected! That was the most difficult electrical connection I have ever dealt with. I totally understood how it worked but it would not come unplugged. I finally got what little thumbnail I ~HAD~ in there and got it out. I think it may have had something to do with it being covered in diesel fuel since it popped when it came out-suction?
Thanks, Josh
