occasional trans and injector pump problems
Hey guys, I'm having occasional problems with transmission and injector pump, or at least i think it's injector pump. At times, I'm having shift pattern problems and at the same time, what i think most people call a dead pedal. And when one acts up, both act up at the same time. Some days, everything is fine, the next day, transmission doesn't shift correctly and I get pedal problems. I can mash on the accelerator and get little or no response, sometimes I can put it to the floor and get a repsonse, sometimes I have to let the pedal come all the way back up, and push it again to get some repsonse. When it's doing this, the transmission is not shifting between 1,2, or 3 rd gears smoothly. What's really stange to me is that, both of these problems are occuring at the same time. If one of them is not acting correctly, then neither of them are. And when one is working correctly, them both of them are. I don't know if these problems are related, but they seem to be. I just had the injector pump replaced last August, so I would hate to think that it is already causing me problems again. Could this be an electrical problem? At idle, alternator is putting out 14.5 volts, I don't know if this is where it should be or not.
Does anybody have any suggetions or ideas? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like your APPS is going out, find someone with a code scanner and see if there are codes.
How are you measuring the voltage? The voltage gauges in my truck are not accurate, 14.5V is a bit high. Highest I usually see is 14.3V, and thats when its really cold out.
