Question not starting right

hey guys I could use some help here please. my truck is not wanting to start like normal i need to crank on it several times 2 or 3 for several seconds be for it wants to start my lift pump is a fass and its running 14 psi wot 16 at idle. i just bought this truck 1month ago with 64,000 miles on it . and i just installed the fass and fp gauge last week could this be the problem? or something else!

It could be an air leak in the system. I had a hard start problem after i did some work on my system, it ended up being a loose fitting and it was loosing its prime sitting over night. so double check all the connections to see it you got a small leak.

thats what it acks like ill re check. is there a check valve in the stock lift pump? and can i run the fass through the stock LP?

Had the same problem after installing banjo fittings one time...took and gave a little more torque on each fitting and the problem went away...sounds like air...

Ok i checked and rechecked all fitting are tight. the thing that has me stumped is that half the time it starts perfect this evening i went out and started it 4 x and all 4 x it fired the 5th time i had to crank on it for 10 sec. seem to be no pattern it started fine almost all day but then it takes for ever?

Maybe the lift pump pressure needs adjusting. The FASS guys know for sure.
